radikal (3892) | http://www.jamtothis.com/showthread.php?p=280507 Hey All The Omaha Show is up on JTT…. Enjoy!!!!! Artist: Show or Bootleg Title: Show Venue: Source: Video Quality/Production Info: Audio/Video Specs: Format: Set List/Chapters: Disc 1 (65 mins) Disc 2 (68 Mins) Checksums or Fingerprints: DVD 2 Van Halen Sample: http://youtu.be/rGtLoXTf-ig Menu: Yes A huge thanks to omahaswine for releasing this show which is presently uncirculated. Filmer: omahaswine Lineage: Canon ZR65>MiniDV master tapes>SA Panasonic DVD recorder>DVD Video was transferred from DVD > Mpeg Streamclip > Soundtrack Pro (audio edit) > Final Cut Pro ( Syncing and editing) > DVD Studio Pro (authored) > You Filmer notes: This was an easy show to film. Shot from left center balcony even with left stack. Audio is much better than the KC show I filmed. Unlike KC I used the optical zoom and panned back a little more. Only problem I have is that when I switched tapes during the drum solo I was in such a hurry that when I wrapped my coat around the camera, part of the coat covers the top right portion of the lens. You can ONLY see this when I pan way back. When I zoom in you can’t even tell. One interesting moment is at the beginning of Right Now, some chick gets on stage and goes over to Sammy and Eddie and flashes her tits. The camera is right on it. As they take her off stage, Sammy says she ain’t going anywhere. This was just recently transferred to 2 DVD’s. Back when it was filmed I didn’t have a DVD recorder so it just got transferred to VHS and given to only 1 other person. I planned on trading it but a guy from Canada named Shawn, aka VHLIVE aka Stagefrightlive aka Archive 625 pissed me off so it sat and collected dust. Last month my old DVD recorder broke and I wanted to test out a new one that I’ve never used before. I had to think of a show to transfer. It just so happened that I couldn’t sleep one night and decided to watch a bootleg. I cleared all of my DVD’s from my bedroom area so I put in this VHS. I thought man I never transferred this to DVD. This would be the perfect show to use on the new DVD recorder. The only problem was I didn’t know where the master tapes were. I have them in 3 different places. I thought this would take forever tracking them down but I found them right away. Although Shawn pissed me off, I can’t remember what he did so its been 10 years so why not let it out. I’m not gunna say don’t sell, don’t convert to lossy formats, blah, blah. It doesn’t help. Do what you want with it. I only ask that if you create artwork or author the show that you put filmed by Omahaswine. Enjoy! radikalQuote |

omahaswine (79) | Nice job on the artwork George. Too bad I don’t collect it. I don’t know how you designed the right side but for those that have never been to Omaha, TD Ameritade Park is across the street from the then named Qwest Center and they have a statue for the college world series. So instead of holding a guitar, the statue has a baseball bat or glove. I’ve only been to TD Ameritade Park 1 time and it was for the Red Sky music festival. About 100 degrees that day. I got busted 30 minutes into Poison so I moved and got all of Def Leppard. Gotta love the security in Omaha. They didn’t take the tape or kick me out. omahaswineQuote |

georgethree33 (128) | Thanks omahaswine! I really wanted to maintain the local flavor as a resident and highlight a little slice of the ol home town visually on the cover. georgethree33Quote |
