I contacted ballsdeeper back in early January after I read his post at Dime that he had 90 minutes of video of this show shot from the back. It was the missing link that I’d been hoping for. It took a while before I got it, but I did, and now this show is done.

This is a great show. The band is smokin’ through out and Dave’s voice was in fine form. None of the angles are complete, and on a few songs there is only one angle available. But on most there are at least two angles. The video is all shot very nicely and except for some parts of MrMNRocker’s video, the exposure is spot on. The audio is also very good.

I would say this is definitely a top 5 video from the 2012 tour in terms of the video itself and the show.

Before I upload it to Dime, I want to give the people here a chance to get this so they can use it to improve their Dime ratios. If you want the dropbox links, just make it known here in this thread and myself or someone else will provide them to you via PM.

Instructions for creating a DVD using Dropbox links:

1. First – create a folder (for example VH 2012-04-29 St Louis DVD9).
2. Create VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS sub-folders in the above folder.
3. For the “VIDEO_TS” zip file – download outside of the VIDEO_TS folder, unzip it, and then put the files (total of six small files) into the VIDEO_TS folder. For all the files linked above, just right click and “save as” to download them – and direct the download to the VIDEO_TS folder. Some browsers/downloaders will rename the .VOB files with the .MPG extension. If you see this, you’ll need to rename them back to .VOB. You can right click on them, choose “rename,” and then change it to .VOB. You cannot burn the files to a working DVD without doing this.
4. After downloading, if you see the file name, but no extension (.VOB, .BUP, .MPG etc.), then you need to do this: Start button –> Control Panel —> Appearance and Personalization —> Folder Options. Click the View tab, under Advanced Settings, untick the ”Hide extensions for known file types” and click OK. You will now be able to see the file extensions.

Thanks for all the hard work, and effort. I can wait for the DIME download, as my ratio is much higher than it needs to be.

Once I have the show, I can also share the show through Dropbox, to anyone who can’t or won’t download from DIME.

Dropbox will only allow 20 GB downloaded per day from an account, so beware of that.

With this many people wanting the show, before it goes to DIME, was a private torrent ever considered?

Dropbox is great for getting a show to one person, but probably a private torrent would be better with five, or more interested in getting the show.
