I can try to dropbox this, but that didn’t seem to work very well last time. I could torrent it straight up; or I could burn a few copies, set up a tree, and then after several people have it, I could torrent it then – and give folks a chance to pick up several GBs of upload credit.

I finally got a new computer that can easily handle HD, so I’ll be knocking out several blu-ray projects in the near future. Next will probably be Las Vegas.

However you want to handle it is fine with me. With an out-of-town trip coming up, I probably can’t participate decently in a tree or a torrent, but will do what I can to help.
Looking forward to this awesome show and awesome HD quality. The extended “Dance The Night Away” is great! (If I’m remembering the shows correctly)

Dropbox worked perfect for me last time.

I could set up a private torrent, if you Dropbox it. I know a few here that have done private torrents for me.

I can’t burn Blu-ray… so that’s out.

The poor folks play for keeps down here…They’re the living dead. Nobody rules these streets at night like Van Halen!!

DIME’s freeloader days run until Monday, February 10, 2014 – good timing for large Blu-Ray torrents.

What does that mean? Will Dime have a membership fee coming up? I thought I was just logged in a couple of days ago and didn’t see any notices or anything?

Ha ha, that sounds like I’m panicking… I’m not panicking, I’m just curious what “freeloader days” are…

I assume it means free leeching of torrents. In other words, what you download does not count against your ratio.

Thanks to Big Jon for the heads up about the freeloader on Dime.

It’s actually given me to opportunity to recover from the VH Phoenix 2013 multicam BD stuff up. I’ve been uploading it to increase my ratio.

Gilligan – don’t panic !!
From the Dime FAQs – The sharing that members do during Freeloader Days is added to their upload totals, but download amounts reported during Freeloader Days do not accrue and are not counted in users’ account statistics. Also, the usual 0.25 minimum ratio for entering a torrent as a downloader is waived.

Ah! Thanks, I checked it out when I got home last night. For me, it doesn’t seem to matter how active or inactive I am, I always stay at a 3.3 ratio. I seed forever, but don’t really build up too much. Fortunately, when I do a download it doesn’t hit my ratio too much either – I guess due to sheer volume…
