It will be readily available — via the usual suspects.

Unfortunately, it’s not quite done yet and I am getting ready to jump on a plane and won’t be back until the weekend. So give it a couple of weeks.

Randy this is an epic project! The MOR tour is still one of my favorite concerts I’ve attended. I saw the second night in Alpine Valley, WI and was blown away by all the bands. Well, maybe not Kingdom Come. They were ok. However, this multi-cam footage looks great, and is a cool story as to how it’s come to surface. Thanks for taking the time to put it together. Much appreciated!

This looks awesome Randy! Just watched the sample and with the footage being over 25 years old, it’s so much better than I was expecting. I think the left audio sounds perfectly acceptable too.

A three-cam from 1988 – who’d have thought it!

Your efforts & hard work are very much appreciated – can’t wait to see the full show :)

Dave: My vote is left. Yes it sounds distant, but the right one sounds too distorted to me, especially in the vocals. I don’t suppose you could use both at the same time?

Just to clarify – I will not be making a matrix of the two audio sources. I will put them both on the DVD as separate audio sources and the viewer will have the option of choosing which audio source he/she wants to listen to.

AWESOME. Yes, THANK YOU, Randy!! We all really appreciate your hard work and expertise. And, your generosity. Really looking fwd to this one!

I saw MoR @ LA Coliseum, a month after this show … Metallica was INSANE. Just AMAZING … and, the crowd erupted in chaos, throwing chairs and breaking down barricades. Everybody else sucked, comparatively. Dokken, especially. don dokken was a total joke. can’t sing, can’t dance, can’t talk. We booed. Scorps were solid (probably best sounding of the day), but so boring. Way past their prime, imho. I remember it taking FOREVER for VH to take the stage …

Ed + Sam wore the same stage-clothes as in NY/Giants Stadium … i was right in front of Ed for most of it. A crazy giant foodfight was going on behind me … 80,000 in the SoCal sunshine, blowing off steam and frustration … a great, long day.

Thanks again, Randy!

sample looks great
and putting 2 audio choices is a great idea
I don’t suppose even combining the 2 that you can mix the distorted audio in to even sound good

Yes, the memories of the Coliseum show! What a crazy day that was! This was my girlfriends, future wife, first concert. You described it well, exactly how I remembered it too. The food fight before VH went on was nuts, we went home covered in beer, mustard & ketchup. Those were fun times.

Holy shit, this looks fantastic! Thanks for all the work on this. Too bad there is so little of the 88 stuff out there as it was a great tour.
