This is a new release. Not sure any collector has gotten this yet. But these two paragraphs seem to describe the sound quality. FWIW

本作最大の魅力は、初めて耳にする名古屋ショウそのものになるわけですが、それを伝えるサウンドもグレイト。さすがに奇跡録音の代名詞たる『TOKYO’S ON FIRE』には及びませんが、いわゆる“貴重音源の常識”ともかけ離れている。何よりも素晴らしいのは、猛烈なダイレクト感。独自ルートからもたらされたオリジナル・カセットだけにオーディエンス録音なのは間違いないのですが、距離が全然感じられず、やたらめったらオン。実のところ、あまりに凄まじくて低音がオーバーピーク気味になることもあるのですが、ヴォーカルやコーラス、そして肝心要のギターは超鮮明&超端正。ピッキング・ニュアンスもビビッドなら、ちょっとしたアーミングの軋みも鮮やか。手元が目に浮かび、目の前にバチバチと火を吹き上げる導火線が見えるほどのド直近サウンドなのです。
 さらに驚くのは、異常なまでのオーディエンス・ノイズの少なさ。もちろん、手拍子や曲間の喝采・口笛も吸い込まれてはいるものの、それ概要に遠く、荒縄の如き演奏音/歌声に完全にかき消されてしまう。そのバランスとオリジナル・マスターならではの瑞々しさも相まって、それこそFM音源ばりのド直結感でショウに没頭できる。しかも、ショウが進むほどにそんなサウンドが向上までしてしまう、とてつもない名録音なのです。

I bought a copy of this tape at a record store in NYC – it was right across from Electric Lady Studios, actually back in 1985 or so. It was a very low gen and actually sounded better than what is circulating right now. It was very bright and clean. The store was called It’s Only Rock and Roll. Unfortunately the tape got eaten by a tape deck in the late 80s, so I am looking forward to this upgrade. Thanks Cato/Ron…
