kite (2009) | http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=402709 NOTE: THESE ARE 24 BIT, 48 KHZ FILES AND CANNOT BE BURNED TO AUDIO CD!!! Van Halen Taper: Lou Lineage: SP-CMC-2 (AT831′s with low sensitivity mod) > SP-SPSB-8 (95 Hz bass roll off) > Edirol R-09 > WAV 24/48 > CDWave > Trader’s Little Helper > FLAC(level Quality: A- Total Time: 117:10 1. Unchained 6:15 Notes: Took a road trip down to Greensboro, my first time there. I liked the fact that this is one of the remaining buildings in this country that VH played 30 years ago, so I tried to absorb that and pretend I was alive and was seeing a concert in that era. I’d like to thank everyone I met up with down there from the Roth Army for a wonderful time–Carmine, Ginny, Pojo, Va Beach, Fairwrning, SparkieD & Tommy. Two more Roth Army members really wanted to carpool with me but at the last minute had some unfortunate circumstances that prevented them from going. So Zempi and VanHalener, I dedicate this recording to you. This was a terrific show, probably the best of the seven I’ve seen on this tour. Everyone was firing on all cylinders, including Dave. As soon as he and Eddie did an improvised jam during “Unchained,” I felt this could be a special night. Dave’s voice sounded clean and powerful, as good as he was in 2007-08 when he was the one holding that tour together. It would have been nice to get a setlist change (this was now the fourth night in a row doing the same setlist), but the performance was so precise, Dave was very much on top of his game and chock full of humorous Rothisms, I can’t complain. I will not be posting a 16 bit version. I don’t have the interest in doing that so any one of you can take it upon yourselves to do that and upload it to Dime, no need to ask me. Really you can do whatever you want with it without asking–mate it to a DVD, upload as mp3 files on guitars101.com, etc. I can’t stop you anyway and I stopped caring about such things a long time ago. FFP file and shntool results included. vh2012-04-21t01.flac:a7127d80b35c8809c3babe0a16b687eb length expanded size cdr WAVE problems fmt ratio filename kiteQuote |

mrmojohalen (6468) | If anyone is looking to download this, it has been uploaded to Dropbox courtesy of jroundy. PM him for the links. When you turn on your stereo, does it return the favor? mrmojohalenQuote |

So I am guessing your download was successful? Good to know. Was easy uploading the files, too bad I couldn’t send one link to download the entire folder. Seems to me that Dropbox was kind of dumb on that. Are there any other good choices besides Dropbox? The poor folks play for keeps down here…They’re the living dead. These are the ways to do it for free or for someone to put up the files for free because not everyone can or want’s to do torrents.I agree it would be nice but it is only a a few more links to download. All the other things are like that. The only other way would be torrent or private torrent or snailmail that I can think of. gatomike26Quote |

jroundy (1418) | Dropbox was easy to set up, worked perfectly, but would not allow me to send one link to the folder I created. Just thought that was silly. I had to send mrmojohalen like 24 different links all going to the same folder. But if anyone wants the links, I have them saved and ready to go. guitard (7354) | You can always put the 24 files into a single zip file. That’s what I do in situations like that. guitardQuote |

I just tried that….works like a charm. So simple, yet so much more efficient. Thanks for the great info. The poor folks play for keeps down here…They’re the living dead. Nobody rules these streets at night like Van Halen!! jroundyQuote |
