thismusicsux(581) | Decent quality. 2014 Remaster improves a bit, original is pretty muddy, this is a little brighter. Eddie messes around on several spots. - – - – - – - – - - http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=521370&hit=1 Van Halen Friday, March 9, 1984 Cincinnati Gardens Cincinnati, OH Original Lineage: Internal mics>Radio shack portable recorder>Master cassette>Tape deck on a Sharp CD-2622>RCA CDRW 120 standalone CD burner>CD>EAC>WAV>Soundforge Audacity for track splits>FLAC Frontend Level 8 and aligned on sector boundaries ======================================== CLASSIC COLLECTION REMASTER: 2014 Release: CC.19840309.2014 Quality: B Updated Lineage: Same source above > 2014 Add EQ + Pitch Correction > AIF > FLAC — 2014 Notes — The original sound on this show was pretty buried and muffled throughout, this 2014 remaster is a *slight* upgrade adding some mid/high end and also pitch correction. This show is kinda funny because Eddie is playing pretty loose and seems to be horsing around in a few songs (HFT, GGB, Solo). ======================================== Disc 1: 1. Unchained 2. Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love // Original Notes: When I was initially told about the Police Cincinnati ’84 master source I transferred and torrented I was told about this show too. I could be wrong, but based on what I checked it seems this is a brand-new show to circulation. I am confident this finding will likely be appreciated the VH community, but I’d say that nothing too exciting happens on this night. Disc 1 is side 1 of the first tape. Disc 2 is side 2 of the first tape and side 1 of the second tape. There is a cut in Eruption (tape flip) and there are a couple of other cuts as well. Some of the tracks are left with solos attached since they were attached in the performance.
