Here’s Another Show From My Collection. This has been re-mastered from the source RtR tape – the original cassettes were lost in 1980, January 29th 1980 to be exact(not in a “House Fire” though). So this is taken from the Reel to Reel master 7 1/2 ips to DAT, then to WAV files. Selland Arena, Fresno California, September 22nd 1978. Here’s a DBL:

Very nice indeed! Here’s a cover I did for this show…I don’t think this one made it out there because there’s no mention of DJ on any notes!

Thank you very much !! :-D
I’m curious, was it standard for you guys to transfer shows from cassette to RtoR back in the day ?
Sort of a ‘Put away the cassettes & use the RtoR to playback & enjoy the show’ ?
What did you do for the remastering process ?
Thanks again. 8)

Edit: I just realized it will be 36 years ago to the day on Monday. 8-O

When you turn on your stereo, does it return the favor?

yes it was..also to 8-Track for the car!

mrmojohalen: What did you do for the remastering process

I do some cleaning up of tape flips, eliminate peaks or volume flucuations and as little as possible,actually..I use soundforge pro for Mac with izotope mastering plug-ins,sometimes RX/Ozone

mrmojohalen: I just realized it will be 36 years ago to the day on Monday

Yes 36 years is a long time..Luckily I spent the $$ 21 years ago to preserve these recordings..
