ffoner (1089) | Hi everyone, I have been thinking about trying to create a T-shirt that would allow me to wear one of the original logos of our favorite band. I was thinking that a high quality scan could be done of this red and yellow logo from a certain EP, and then it could be printed on the shirt. I thought it would be cool to do a small run of these shirts, maybe 20 or so, whatever the minimum run would be at a local t-shirt shop. The goal would just be to charge enough to cover the costs of shirts and postage and what not. I’m being vague here for obvious reasons. And I don’t know the first thing really about how to do this, but all I know is that I’d like a unique T-shirt to wear to shows. Anyone game for this? Shoot me a PM and we can take the conversation private if we really do get the ball rolling. ffonerQuote |

sickman (2380) | FWIW, I tried to have something similar done recently with a company named Wordans and was told they can’t print anything that has a copyright. sickmanQuote |

ffoner (1089) | Yeah, that’s what I figured, but I’m sure we could find someone who would do it. What was the file type [for example, .jpg] that you created in order to try to create the shirt? someone told me once that you needed to scan the shirt image and then save it a certain way so it could be put on a shirt. ffonerQuote |

sickman (2380) | The site gave you a template in the shape of a t-shirt and you uploaded jpegs, higher res the better, and positioned them on the shirt as you wanted. You could even add text. I tried to have this image put on a shirt. sickmanQuote |

ffoner (1089) | Cool shirt. I’m thinking about doing it with a local company here. I’m going to call them and see what kind of image they would need and ask what their minimum order would be. ffonerQuote |
