kaloway: You could replace him on drums, but could you compete with the 3rd leg????

It’s like a baby’s arm with a boxing glove on the end of it..

I suppose I can see his point, motley crue fans don’t strike me as the brightest of the bunch so they’re probably really annoying.

Resident dickhead. I will hurt your delicate feelings.

One of the nice things is that a lot of my favorite bands who played arenas back in the day are now playing in clubs. Obviously, the atmosphere in a club is much more conducive to saying hello after the show and maybe getting a pic if you want it. Even then, I usually just say hello and shake hands. Maybe get an autograph if I bought a piece of merchandise.

Other than that – you just have to play it by ear. If one of your faves is sitting in the airport waiting for a flight . . . or standing in a hotel lobby . . . I say go say hello and shake hands if you really want to. Probably 99% of the time, they will oblige you. If you want a pic and you sense it wouldn’t be too much of an imposition – ask if it’s OK to take one.

But if they’re taking a piss, eating with friends/family, in a hurry to get somewhere — that ain’t the time. So don’t bother.

I know some performers say they owe you nothing once the show is over. And they’re absolutely right. There are others who think they owe everything they have (house, cars, guitars, etc., etc.) to the fans and their fans’ support. And they will stand there and shake every hand and sign every autograph request that comes along. It’s a personal choice. Neither is right – and neither is wrong.

But in a different situation if he is happy ,is it too much for a photo or autograph?

TOMMY LEE Explains Facebook Rant – July 11, 2012

MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee has spoken out about the Facebook rant he went on last week where he asked fans to stop requesting pictures every time he walks outside.

Speaking to Fuse.TV, Lee revealed what tipped him over the edge.

“My mother passed away recently,” he said. “I was picking up her ashes to take them home with me to do a service for my mother. And so I’m at the mortuary, I’ve got my mom’s ashes in my right hand, and my girlfriend, I’m holding her hand with my left hand, and we’re walking out. And the fucking lady, the receptionist, goes, ‘Oh my god, can I take a picture with you?’ And I looked and her and went [takes a deep breath], ‘I’m sorry, but I’d rather not.’ Then she was like, ‘Are you sure?’ I’m fucking standing there with my mom’s ashes and it’s not the fucking happiest day on the planet for me. I couldn’t believe it. I go, ‘Okay, that’s officially the most fucked up thing that has ever happened to me’. I called the manager and said, ‘You’re not going to believe what just happened. I don’t expect you to fire her or anything like that, but that was the most disrespectful bullshit I’ve ever experienced in my life.’”

He added, “I sat in the car, and I’m shaking, and my girlfriend goes, ‘I’m so sorry honey,’ and I was speechless. I didn’t even know what to say. I couldn’t believe a human being just did that.”

I sure hopes that’s a true story. The only reason I would even begin to question it is that Tommy never said a single word about his Mom in his original rant – and now after a shit storm hits – he comes out with a completely differently story that goes from a guy asking to shake his hand while he’s taking a piss to a lady asking him for his picture while he’s at a mortuary picking up his Mom’s ashes.
