Wolf was still learning his way as a performer during that 2007-8 tour. While his playing was decent, his stage presence was a work in progress. I doubt they want to put something out that depicts Wolf in that light.

Vince G.: The Japanese edition has been announced, and it’s nothing special. Just “Live in Tokyo” and remastered versions of “Van Halen” and “1984″, same as what’s being offered everywhere else.

Something tells me this delay in releasing the CDs is to help promote more digital sales. I just keep thinking that I’ll get my vinyl weeks before my CDs, so I won’t be able to listen to them. Sooooo, yeah, I’ll probably get the digital downloads first. Bastards!! They’re on to me!
