Is the filmer’s name Scott? I traded with him for all those Kiss shows I put up a year or two ago and they were all recorded to an SA recorder and the 16:9 shot was squeezed into a 4:3 picture. That’s very easy to fix with a re-author. Although you lose a lot of picture quality recording to a cheap stand alone as opposed to a computer encoded video. Nice guy though. guitardQuote |

Really looking forward to the D.C. show, since I was able to attend that show with my brother. There are some really good sounding audio recordings of that show. It was a good night, I thought the band was great, I just wasn’t too happy with the seats my brother bought. Too far from the stage for me. The bootleg video might be more fun, since the sound from our seats had tons of low end, and midway through the show, I couldn’t hear Ed or Dave. I think all that bottom end wore out my ears. Surprisingly, no ringing in the ears after the show, probably because it was all bottom end, and not enough highs. Thanks in advance for putting it up at JTT, I will be on it when it’s up. The poor folks play for keeps down here…They’re the living dead. Nobody rules these streets at night like Van Halen!! jroundyQuote |

I didn’t say anything bad about him. He’s a filmer buddy of mine and we go back a ways. guitardQuote |

eruption1962 (1366) | Good! Then you can ask him why he authors in 4:3…the picture would be GREAT if left in 16:9 eruption1962Quote |

Well . . . that’s just it – it’s not authored. It’s created by connecting the videocam to a stand alone burner that only burns in 4:3 PAR. But the 16:9 PAR can be saved, but requires you re-author the disk. Since it doesn’t have menus anyway, it probably needs to be re-authored. I would not distribute this in its current form – get it re-authored and then distribute it. That will save a lot of time, effort, and money – BUT will delay the initial distribution by a week or two. guitardQuote |

sickman (2380) | Hey all, Both NYC shows, previously torrented on JTT as a dvd9 As far as I know the original NYCBC dvd’s are 2 dvd sets. If that is correct there are 18 dvd’s coming to each of you. Right now my list consists of 11 members here at VHT. That a total of 198 discs that I have to burn once I get them from Dean. If any of you who have donated already have some of these and do not have a need for another copy please contact me through a PM here at VHtrading. sickmanQuote |
