VOODOO (2375) | The one thing I always appreciate about this era, is that they toured so much, the band was friggin tight and Eddie’s playing was absolutely fluid and perfect. I have been digging through the archives lately and listening to stuff I normally wouldn’t necessarily listen to. The 5150 tour was rough on many levels, since the band was relatively new and they hadn’t played those songs a lot. The OU812 era tours had some expected rough patches, too, but 1991-1995 era of the band had some of their best performances and Eddie’s playing was exceptionally good. It was effortless. I love seeing him playing in this era. Amazing. VOODOOQuote |

You’re right, when i went to see them in Montreal in 91 they were super tight an not playing too fast , i think Alex played with a click after UO812 .But like you said the band was so good and tight live and on all the dvds i have i can appreciate it. unchainedheartQuote |

Someone uploaded the ’95 Irvine show which was professionally recorded by the venue to YouTube. That’s the show I was at where Sam grabbed my son and carried him onstage. Unfortunately the venue edited that part out. Vince G.Quote |
