I agree. I like seeing the Zepp tunes in there. But when Sammy goes on tour, I have the same issue when Dave goes on tour … too many Van Halen songs and too many “pop” Van Halen tunes. If I go see Dave … I wanna see Dave songs. If I go see Sammy … I wanna see Sammy songs. With this group it is kindda nice to see a cross section, I like the Zepp songs and the rare Sammy songs but please STOP playing When It’s Love, Why Can’t This Be Love, and Finish What Ya Started. I’d be fine never hearing those songs live again. frankmQuote |

PT5150 (6290) | The live CD should be good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOHLG2P-7_M EDDIE’S fingers aren’t fingers they are muscle-powered pistons that hammer guitar strings to the fretboard with the force of a rivet gun”. PT5150Quote |

Vince G. (2261) | They can keep playing When It’s Love. I have no problem with that one. But, yeah, I’m sick of Why Can’t This Be Love and FWYS. And, that clip is obviously pro-shot. I wonder if a live DVD might be in the works? Vince G.Quote |

Dave (2308) | I see Sam is still a fan of wearing more than one outfit during the same song. Stay Frosty DaveQuote |

Dave (2308) | Video-wise, maybe. Audio – I’m not so sure about that. Sam’s last live album – the one with Gary Cherone on it – was pretty raw. Stay Frosty DaveQuote |

evhua (1610) | Poundcake sounds very good, the sound of the track is much more “studio-polished-oriented”… Mikey’s bas sounds good and the drums…with Jason Bonham, well sounds good too. The guitar souds good too… but there is just one huge-mega-universal difference in this picture… you tell me, please evhuaQuote |

VOODOO (2375) | Suprised no one has posted or commented on this yet…or maybe I just missed it. I noticed some other rehearsal pics, Vic is playing a Peavey Wolfgang as well. VOODOOQuote |

mikeyV (335) | If I remember both Sam and Vic have stated they like the sound and reaction of the guitar. I was looking at it as more of a statement of flattery than in your face. Didn’t Roth do the whole headset mic thing at the begining of the last tour? The Ultimate in Van Halen Vinyl Proud Member Since the First Year– Both VHTrading and the Band mikeyVQuote |

Dave did do the headset but I thought that was more of a tilt of the hat to Britney Spears! sickmanQuote |

I think he wanted to be free to dance around and play with props onstage, but they were never able to get the headsets to work properly throughout an entire show. VOODOOQuote |
