The picture fills will always be there, because this was shot on 8mm or Super 8mm film. The film spools were only about 5 minutes long, so you could only shoot so much at time before swapping out spools. He added the stills to the audio track, to keep the show going until the next spool picks up in the show.

Yes there was. I think he was asking if anything was released (i.e. DVD or torrent, etc) that was without the watermarks or picture fills. We were hoping there would be a complete set of all footage from all of the shows that were restored. Didn’t that SAS guy do a 1980s how as well? It would be great to get these cleaned up versions in a collection with all of the other 8mm film that was on that rarities DVD collection. Was that an Ory release? Two disc set and the first disc was all of the European and Australian clips. May have been some from Japan, too. Man, it’s been so long since I’ve pulled this stuff out. Seeing as it’s Memorial Day Weekend, it may be time to spend the weekend binging on classic VH. I always watch the US Fest on May 29th. The fiancee is worked all weekend and the weather is supposed to be shitty, so it may be the perfect way to spend the long holiday weekend!

This Mad Hatter release included a DVD http://www.vhboots.com/machismoinfresnolp.html
