The loud roar that follows is not a guitar it’s actually Eddie Van Halen revving the engine of his 1972 Lamborghini Miura S. The car was actually backed up to the studio and microphones were attached to the exhaust pipe to record the sound.

No, I haven’t yet but I imagine wouldn’t be cheap. I think the Atlas Icons site is mainly for licensing usage for publications but always intended to look into it again and find out. Here’s an old check for maintenance on one of EVH’s Lamborghini’s. Not sure if it’s rare or not maybe already posted around before. Notice the skull & crossbones logo. Hee Hee.
 Here’s a scan of a pic EVH sent to a mechanic friend named Roy in Seattle posted on a Lamborghini Website. ( Unrelated to the cheque)

LOVE the picture of Ed with the Countach. Never seen that one before… The cheque picture is interesting. $158.69 for maintenance on a Lamborghini… Must of only needed air in the tyres…
