Neil Zlozower recently uploaded a few more old VH shots to his Atlas Icons site.

I’m guessing this is the same Van they used to haul their gear in the ’70′s.

My new favorite Flying EVH pic. Wouldn’t mind to snag a print for framing.

Yep- I concur 100% Dutchie, but the publishing and photographic market suffers the same frustrations as the music industry due to the internet and so forth.

Take a peek at the VH Store- You can buy the two Zlozower VH books for $20!!!. That’s half of what I paid in my local bookstore here when they first came out.

Problem is the cost of production and distribution exceeds the demand. Jeff said Zloz told him he doubted there’d be another VH book.

Printing is not cheap. A lot of printing has been delegated to Italy as its one of the few places that still have factories to print books.

The Times have changed.

But that’s why I periodically post about Zloz’s Atlas Icon’s site pointing out newly added pics. That site is the new never ending rock photography book. Gotta figure its pretty cool he keeps updating it regularly.

Although- You’ll notice there’s Jack Shit from the Rolling Stones Orlando shows from ’81. The iconic shot from Diver Down. I’m sure everyone knows.

THAT is the show I want to see more pics from.

ZLOZ is the coolest MF on the planet. But he’s kinda sneaky too the way he just nonchalantly slips new old pics in with the others that have been there for years already. You have to check in regularly each month and scroll through to see the newly added ones.

I usually check up every month and there’s ALWAYS something new I’ve never seen before. When you click enlarge the pic you can see the upload date and other info.
