wjamflan (1113) | I hope this doesn’t come out the wrong way…. but…. as a guitar player, I find myself looking at these mini guitars and wondering, what the hell are you you supposed to do with them???? Look at them? Display them? You can’t play them. Seems like a complete waste of time and money. Maybe it’s just me…. “This hamburger don’t need no helper.” – DLR 5/17/15 wjamflanQuote |

I thought the same thing. They look nice, but I don’t get it. MinkQuote |

Thanks Matt. I know we’re all collectors here, so I didn’t want to offend anyone. They just don’t seem to have a use. It would have been nice if EVH (the company) spent the last 2 years putting together real period correct guitars made out of ash instead of basswood….or maybe a b & w striped Franky with a standard Fender trem set up like he used to…. something useful… “This hamburger don’t need no helper.” – DLR 5/17/15 wjamflanQuote |

As a fan who isn’t a guitar player, a full sized guitar doesn’t have any use to me, and would cost more to buy and put on a wall, so mini guitars make a nice collectible. ronQuote |

Thanks Eric. While I only sampled portions of the video, it was this video that convinced me to order. I took a look at the Axe Heaven mini’s and these new ones certainly look more detailed. The new mini web site needs more photos, or more closeups, or something, as I wasn’t convinced till I saw this video. ronQuote |

ron (11783) | If you order and get any of these, be sure to check them out upon receipt. The neck was detached from the body on one of them I got. ronQuote |

I’ve also got a broken string, so while I could glue the neck back on, does a 5-string EVH guitar really make the grade? BTW: The affected item of mine was also the yellow/black one. ronQuote |

It’s been two weeks since I heard anything (from the place I bought it) on this. Feeling a bit disappointed. ronQuote |

That sucks. I take it you purchased from a very well known site to buy VH products? I just glued down my neck and all is good but I can understand with the combo of the neck and a broken string I would be disappointed too. sickmanQuote |
