Was the US Fest televised on live TV or a closed circuit kind of thing? I know they showed the promo on Showtime right? They don’t consider it “television” if it’s a pay-per-view sort of channel like HBO or Showtime. They mean ABC, NBC, CBS, etc…

If they are going to run with “television” defined as non-pay-tv, then how about Don Kirshner’s Rock Concert which aired on ‘free’ tv.
