PT5150: Yes same here Brian. And never heard of Dave being at sound check. Thought they might have pulled out As Is for the last gig.

That would have been great. I guess Dave said during the show this would be there last U.S. show for a while.

cabojohnny5150: I have a lot of photo’s to go through, but here are a few from sound check.

Cool pics! In the middle pic, I see Alex now has a keg installed in his bass drum, that’s new. Last tour (2007-08) it was a mini refrigerator, now it’s something on tap.

cabojohnny5150: The concert just ended. About 1hr 55mins.

Here’s the set list

Aside from the slightly wrong info, this was the same set as Oshkosh. Interesting given that Oshkosh was a festival with a post 11pm start time, and Cali was a stand-alone gig starting at 7:30pm

Thanks for the pics, Ron, that’s exactly what I was referring to. O’Douls?! Non-alcoholic beer is not very ‘rock and roll’! I know the ’07 fridge was used to keep Dave’s cans of Red Bull cold. What’s next, cans of Ensure or prune juice for these old bastards?

Glad u like them. It was a great concert. I was in 5th grade when I bought VH 1984 cassette. Seeing VH / DLR in concert is so nostalgic. It was awesome being able to take my daughter. I saw them in ’07. And I’ve seen VH / Hagar a few times. And DLR solo on the Sam & Dave tour in 2002. My fav song of last night was I’ll Wait. The band & DLR sounded perfect on that one.

So no more US shows what about rest of the World or back into the studio.
