ron: That show was issued as a very limited edition vinyl release. As far as I know, all copies (less than 10) were spoken for. There has been no word on the show being released on anything other than vinyl. You can hear portions of it via the links and clips in this thread though!

thanks for the info. was hoping someone had it and was able to rip it or something. sounds incredible from the snippets.

To ron and/or those of you who’ve had a chance listening to the Wichita show: The album cover says they played “Atomic Punk”, the description at vhboots.com however states they played “Light Up The Sky” instead. I guess they played “Atomic Punk” but I would love to get a confirmation of someone who has heard the show. Thanks!

That’s a discrepancy between the artwork/show and the LP label that I hadn’t noticed. I’ll be updating the vhboots.com entry to make note of that, thanks!

Thanks ron, both for the update as well as for maintaining one of the best bootleg information site on the whole internet over all the years!

$25, wow. I’d be pretty pissed if I had paid the original Mad Hatter prices for this.

The sound in Summertime Blues isn’t a flanger it’s Eddie’s Echoplex Echo unit being dialed up and down. It’s the same effect he uses at the end of Eruption. You’ll hear it when you listen to the 78 shows. It’s on the album, too, but live, Eddie would speed it up and slow it down like that after his solo and leave the echo going while he switched guitars.

Thanks for the info Ron. Just a shot in the dark here, but if there’s someone reading this or knows of someone who has experience and/or the equipment to transfer vinyl to digital lossless, I’d be willing to purchase the record and send it for transfer. I’m thinking time is of the essence so if anyone is interested, please let me know here or PM me.

I’m already working on it. I already have the vinyl. Needed to get an adjustable turntable to adjust the pitch on the album (will have it next week). The recording was apparently sped up to 440 tuning on the vinyl release. Didn’t want to digitally adjust the pitch, so I’ll go straight from vinyl to digital at the proper speed and then have a buddy master it for me.
