mrmojohalen (6468) | Back in the 80′s, the story with the US Festival show was that the guys that worked the cameras each got a copy & one of them let it out into circulation. When you turn on your stereo, does it return the favor? mrmojohalenQuote |

ffoner (1089) | There’s a thread here: “I have full length shows from befopre DD, they are really great shows. Someday everyone will see them and realize how great these guys were in the early days.” The member who made that post is still active on that forum, from a quick click onto his profile. ffonerQuote |

mrmojohalen (6468) | His avatar says he’s from Lowell, MA. Could this be the guy that Fletch knows with the ’84 pro-shot ? When you turn on your stereo, does it return the favor? mrmojohalenQuote |

This is like a dream for any of us…bumping into one of the rumored VH bootlegs and having it in the same room for the taking I understand if certain things got out VH would know someone from the inner circle (Pete, Rudy, Noel, etc) would be to blame. But if a Boston radio guy has this… then it’s gotta be out there in other hands and couldn’t easily be pinned on them if released. Ok..I’m just fantasizing now. thismusicsuxQuote |

Just my opinion … but short of someone producing an unauthorized “official” release that makes a lot of money … I don’t think Van Halen gives two shits about a 30 year old video. It’s just not something on their radar. And at this point, I doubt the greatest CVH concert video in the world would make all that big of a splash. guitardQuote |

I agree 100%. At this point in the bands career a DVD release wouldn’t sell much. There’d be a decent group of fans that would be ecstatic and buy it. But overall I don’t think concert DVDs sell a ton these days. And agree they don’t care and also think the Michael Anthony issue is a real factor. They don’t want to sell anything that involves him at this point. Oh well. It’s fun to dream!! thismusicsuxQuote |

MrGrayson (27) | The 3 official DVDs (Live Without A Net, Live: Right Here Right Now, Video Hits Volume I), aren’t they now pretty much OOP now except for a handful copies left in stock? I know that the Concert Vault has some Van Halen but I don’t think that the Concert Vault actually works with the artist with their “releases”. MrGraysonQuote |
