What’s so cool about the Gazzarri’s/Sunset Strip stuff is that it completely puts everything into context and perspective on a historical level. I had to do something more visual, interesting and exciting than just the original video and audio, courtesy of Jeff at VHND, or just a photo frame slideshow. …And the Bill Gazzarri stuff from the Decline of Western Civilization doc. (courtesy of Penelope Spheeris) was so classic, it just had to be there. He was such a stereotypical old school New York “guido” from an era gone by but he embraced it! It’s obvious why VH thanked him on their first album. I don’t like to do titles that aren’t around 120 min. so the sequence filled up the space very nicely. I’m really glad you liked it.
