yeah the early days are interesting. Was just listening to some 75/76 club bootlegs yesterday. So amazing listening to VH play in bar that was probably not too packed (judging by the modest crowd applause/noise). Seeing them in such a small setting before they became true rock stars

ffoner: Here’s a bit of a sample, albeit shortened a bit for the web, regarding Gazzarri’s and the jump to the Starwood: http://tmblr.co/Zcnhauob82I4 Enjoy and feel free to comment using FB or what have you. Oh my goodness, I LOVE that picture. Just by looking at that guy you can tell he has a million stories. And that can’t be his real hair!?

Saw at links the photo of VH at a wedding.
Have not seen that photo of Dave at the mic and Ed with the guitar.
Great photo.

EDDIE’S fingers aren’t fingers they are muscle-powered pistons that hammer guitar strings to the fretboard with the force of a rivet gun”.

My coworker attended Mikey’s wedding. I scanned in these photos of hers & shared them at the old VHTrading quite some time ago.

Thanks Ron!

My agent is shopping the book right now to presses. I’m hopeful I’ll have a deal before the year’s out and then things can really move forward on getting Van Halen Rising into bookstores.
