That’s terrible (minus Sheehan) IMO. No offense intended to those who differ.

These vids make me appreciate just how great VH was and is.

Basically almost any band covering VH doesn’t sound all that good (nobody can really do DLR well — except Ralph Saenz/Steel Panther). This was cool mostly, background vox were atrocious and kinda brought it down.

another LUTS… Yngwie, Doug Pinnick, Billy Sheehan again

early early Atomic Punks (1996). Still not the greatest but get points for doing the drum solo with extra drums like they did in 79

starts at 36 sec…

Nice find… I have never seen this one. This was before Russ (Satchel) was in the band.

Too bad the audio is all guitar and drums, can’t hear the vocals very well.

Dave stole this guitar player for his 1999 tour.

Ralph has gotten much thicker over the years… he looks more like Dave in 1996, then now.

I always loved how Steel Panther would introduce Ralph as their chubby David Lee Roth or their skinny Vince Neil.

The poor folks play for keeps down here…They’re the living dead. Nobody rules these streets at night like Van Halen!!

I wonder what Dave thought about Ralph?

He obviously was pretty impressed with the Atomic Punks. Stealing two guitar players.

they were amazing with Ralph…saw em first around 1998-1999. He still has an amzing voice.

another older one with Brian (2000). slightly better mix.
