I just posted this track on my blog. This version truly smokes. Tracy G (formerly of Dio) kills on it and no one does DLR better than Ralph S.

Enjoy.

Ralph has a great voice. Having said that, this is a god awful cover of a great tune. The whole dropped tuning & harmonic vibrato thing is annoying in its own right, let alone using it on a cover of one of the best VH songs in history. Just my opinion.

When you turn on your stereo, does it return the favor?

Ralph sounds amazing as usual, but I agree on the drop tuning business… not necessary.

Resident dickhead. I will hurt your delicate feelings.

I love that people cover Van Halen tunes, but I am always disappointed. There is nothing here I like except Ralph.

Would be cool to hear Ed, Wolf, and Al back Ralph.

The poor folks play for keeps down here…They’re the living dead. Nobody rules these streets at night like Van Halen!!

I really am surprised you guys don’t like the guitar playing. The arrangement is the same; the guitar player just put his own twist on the song. What would be the point of a carbon copy cover of the VH track? We already have tribute bands…. my 02…..

Yeah I didn’t mind the cover. I love Ralph’s voice. The drop guitar was kinda cool twist. Felt it should’ve been a little better w Ralph though
. But not bad.

Something seems off to me with the first cover. Maybe it will grow on me… Love the Mob cover though!
Ron are you talking about that robot doing the flying Eddie? Pretty cool looking but new to me.

I believe its a Stan Bush reference from the Transformers cartoon movie from the 1980s its believe he ripped off the song Van Halens Jump with the song
You Got The Touch
