King Edward
(1950)

VAN HALEN: Capital Centre in Landover, Maryland June 12, 1978!!!!! No lie here…. VH opened for Ted Nugent!! they signed autographs at a record store called “Peaches” earlier in the day. I was there too!! To be honest I don’t remember a lot about the show – I was only 10 but saw them numerous more times at that venue as the years went by. The Capital Centre produced some great audio and video boots from back in the day!!!!

Question: Are you disappointed that the classic “Frankenstein” stripes are no longer on most of the wolfgang’s that Edward has been playing in the last 10 – 15 years??

Yes! Outside of the obvious disappointments from this band, my biggest gripes are Eds haircut, lack of striped stage attire and his unstriped guitars. I guess I don’t like change… haha, and yes I’m being serious.

Favorite 80s hair band to this date (nonVH)? The one you still listen to the most.

I like many 80′s hair bands equally. Can’t say I listen to one anymore than the other.
Who was the first ‘Rock Star’ that you met ?
For me it was Steve Vai at the hotel after the DLR Detroit show on 9/26/86.

When you turn on your stereo, does it return the favor?

No classic reunion
Coke
Monsters of Rock – Spokane WA
Favorite non-VH 80′s Hair bands – Black N Blue and Kings of the Sun
Never met a rock star
Just finished Dan Brown’s Origin. I’ll give it two stars out of 5. Not his best
Last physical CD was Tokyo Dome
Just saw Primus last week and now have tickets to see Greta Van Fleet in August
All digital purchases for me now. Unless it’s something special.
I wish I had a cool guitar collection like many of you have.

Will Wolf ever release his solo album?

I hope Wolf releases his solo album. His biggest hurdle is going to be the expectations of what we would perceive this album to be (Eddie’s son, prior band sounds etc). I think if everyone just takes a step back and listens to the album without teh expectation that this came from Wolf, I believe it will be a pleasant surprise.

What is the one concert you went to that was for “someone else” (i.e. you did not discuss going until now)….(P.S. No judging…..)
