guitard(7354) | David, Welcome to the site! My grandfather was born and raised in Edinburgh. He was a member of the Scottish Highlanders and was doing some training in Windsor, Canada around 1920. He went out with his mates one night and got pissy drunk and woke up the next morning in Detroit, Michigan (USA). He knew he’d be in trouble by the time he got back to his unit in Canada – so decided to stay in Detroit. And that’s just what he did – for the next 60 years until he died.

Van Haggis(75) | Thanks guys! Not a VH newbie as such. Saw Roth opening world tour tour 1991 in Glasgow , Edinburgh 1994 which wasn’t great, VH Sheffield 1993 great shown but poor crowd, and VH London 1995 which was superb but only 60 m set!!! Would have loved to seen Roth 88 in Edinburgh as I have on cd cause big vai freak also. Special b/ day this year so taking the wife to Vegas for a show etc + VH!!!!!!
