Do we know if there will be any future episodes to take us beyond 1976? I thought the first four were very cool.

The end of Pt 4 says, “to be continued”. Here is a statement from the creator, looks like early April:
“Hi, yes I’m working on part 5 at the moment. Hoping to have it out by Tuesday or Wednesday this coming week. That’ll be the end of this initial run covering the early years, but I’m intending to do more after a short break.”

EDDIE VAN HALEN: THE EARLY GUITARS IN HIS OWN WORDS | The journey to building Frankenstein
Icons Remembered
Sep 20, 2024

Edward Van Halen received his first guitar, a $40 Teisco Del Rey, in 1967 at age 12.
Over the next 10 years he would go on a journey, learning more and more about what he wanted and needed from a guitar.

After working his way through Les Pauls, Stratocasters and Destroyers, the culmination of that search for the perfect instrument was the creation of something all his own – the immortal Frankenstein guitar.

It recently placed number 3 in Billboard’s list of the most iconic guitars of all time: https://www.billboard.com/lists/best-guitars-list-instruments/

This mini-documentary traces the story of Edward’s early guitars, leading up to him creating a legend.
