KISSMAD (532) | Since I still can’t view the trade chat section. I’ll ask the question in this section. How many DVDs do you trade for 1 single layer blu-ray disc? Do you double the amount of DVDs for a dual layer blu-ray disc? KISSMADQuote |

guitard (7354) | Trading physical media is no longer the norm … so there aren’t any hard and fast rules anymore (that I know of). It’s really just a matter of whatever you work out with the person with whom you’re trading. Blu-ray blanks do cost more – but the disparity is nothing like what it used to be. So you’re basically only looking at a 15-20 cent a disc difference. And when you factor in the postage for the cost of mailing additional DVD-R blanks – it’s pretty much a wash. So I’d say 2-for-1 would be fair. guitardQuote |

KISSMAD (532) | It depends on the trade if I do online or not. I still like snail mail trades. My internet is not fast enough for large trades. There is still a large gap with blank media in Australia. I don’t buy the cheap crap media. I buy Verbatim BD for $3 each and Verbatim DVD $0.50 per disc. KISSMADQuote |
