Mink (2663) | http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=446492 [Mod note: uploader contacted the mods about this and received permission regarding the youtube material] Van Halen 01 Intro 2 hours, 4 minutes Video (allowed sources): (1) z1fevr @Dime: Original Files used, 1920 x 1080, located on the floor, 5th row The vast majority of the DVD consists of footage from sources 1 and 2. In cases where the ‘allowed’ footage was obstructed or missing, additional video sources from Youtube were used for patching with permission of the videographers and Dime mods, totaling about 11 minutes. (4) lunaticsltd @Youtube: 1920 x 1080 > Youtube > downloaded via Keeptube > mp4 (1920 x 1080) (Clips used in Guitar Solo and Ain’t Talkin’ Bout Love) Located in the middle of the floor Assembled, edited and rendered to 720 x 480 in Vegas Video; menu and chapters authored in Nero DVD9; torrent prepared in TLH. Audio: Stereo AC3, 48khz, 192 kb/s I’ve been working on this multicam DVD of the Phoenix show since the summer of 2012. I figured it would be a fun project to learn how to edit in Vegas. I recorded the audio of the show and obtained HD footage from two Dime users who’d mentioned it on a prior torrent thread. I also contacted six users at Youtube who had posted clips of the show. I limited my inquiries to the ones who’d posted HD footage. Three of them offered to send me their original files. Only one actually came through. I had to shelve the project for awhile, due to the the fact that as the project grew, my PC couldn’t handle it. Several months went by, at which time I received belated permission from five Youtube users to download their stuff directly from Youtube. It was still very good despite the Youtube encoding. I obtained permission from Dime to use the Youtube stuff in a limited manner to fill in the gaps when the ‘legit’ footage was obstructed or missing. And some of the Youtube footage, such as source 7, was just plain spectacular. I eventually bought a new PC and finished assembling the project last month. There were 55 pieces of footage to sync, which took quite awhile, but now that they are assembled the whole thing turned out very well. 0bb20bb81b516986cae6ff8d75fd7f92 *VIDEO_TS.BUP MinkQuote |

You’re looking at some time tomorrow before anyone even gets it downloaded. As for Dropbox, the disc is too big for default dropboxes. Someone with a larger account will have to participate. ronQuote |
