jroundy (1418) | I just started this torrent over at JTT. If you don’t have it, come get some. http://www.jamtothis.com/showthread.php?p=235541 Artist: Show or Bootleg Title: Source: Video Quality/Production Info: Audio/Video Specs: Audio Specs: Format: Set List/Chapters: Various New York Events: Total Length: 1:14:42 Checksums or Fingerprints: 4b6b6ecabf8b8b79e72b44864c2a4868 *VIDEO_TS/VIDEO_TS.BUP I picked this up back in ’07 I believe, probably from TTD, but I can’t say for sure. Anyhow, this is grade A entertainment David Lee Roth style long after leaving Van Halen, mostly promoting the A Little Ain’t Enough album. For me this is a bit depressing as this is the beginning of the decline in Dave’s career. Still very interesting. All thanks go to JasonA who authored the DVD, and whoever else that was involved, as well as Milan AKA RockPhantom for the original upload. If you don’t have this, you will want it. Just a thought for everyone who has super fast upload speeds……throttle back your upload speeds if you are putting back more than your taking. Take pity on those who have slower upload speeds, and let them get their trading ratios in order. If you have finished downloading and your ratio is in good standing, step off, and let the other guys catch up. Go seed a show that needs seeding. Be kind to others with slower upload speeds. Let them put in their fair share if they wish. Enjoy!! The poor folks play for keeps down here…They’re the living dead. Nobody rules these streets at night like Van Halen!! jroundyQuote |

jroundy (1418) | At the end of this DVD, Dave says something that makes you think he is regretting leaving Van Halen, and is already hoping for a chance to get back with the band. Unfortunately, it only took about 16 more years until that happened. The poor folks play for keeps down here…They’re the living dead. JasonA (1118) | I always interpreted the song Sensible Shoes (from A Little Ain’t Enough album) to be about VH. JasonAQuote |

Never thought about it that way, but then again, I don’t pay to close attention to the lyrics anyhow. Love that song though. I always thought Damn Good was a shout out to Van Halen. It’s really too bad what happened to Jason Becker…..I think Dave and him could have made a killer team. I liked Jason Becker’s playing on this album much more than Vai’s. Probably because it was a little more blues based. I loved the last two tracks that he wrote with Dave. The poor folks play for keeps down here…They’re the living dead. You are the JasonA that authored these DVD’s right? Nice work. I had some of this stuff myself…….in really decent quality, but I don’t know what the hell I did with it. Still bugs me everytime I think about it. The poor folks play for keeps down here…They’re the living dead. Nobody rules these streets at night like Van Halen!! jroundyQuote |
