I agree. I figured once the album was out he would be promoting it. I guess it’s just not at the top of the list of things he needs to get done right now. sickmanQuote |

ron (11779) | Ignoring the ebay watermark in the lower left corner, it’s interesting that they are using Dave’s web site in the ads printed to promote the Tokyo Dome release. ronQuote |

I assume they didn’t anticipate it being pulled and expect it to be back online soon. Someone said there was some sort of rumored content dispute, so I maybe they feel leaving everything intact and then waiting for things to pan out would be easier than actually changing/editing the site. They could still post a homepage graphic or redirect to the official VH site in the mean time, one would think. Maybe when the your gets closer they will update the site if the legal (or whatever they may be) issues haven’t been resolved. VOODOOQuote |

Very strange. Maybe this is the last hurrah for Van Halen with DLR. Maybe this is why Sammy keeps saying a reunion is inevitable? Maybe Wolf is getting ready to do his own solo project and the brothers are going to bring Mike and Sam back to make good on the ’04 fiasco? I’m really learning to never say never with these guys. jroundy (1418) | I don’t think Dave was getting enough views for his time and effort, and likely decided not to bother. His YouTube channel didn’t have many subscribers. The poor folks play for keeps down here…They’re the living dead. Nobody rules these streets at night like Van Halen!! jroundyQuote |

sickman (2380) | It’s crazy to let the domain name go though. It doesn’t cost much at all to keep the domain even if you’re not going to use it. I think it’s very strange they let that slip. sickmanQuote |

Especially since they used it on promotional materials. At the very least, they could have renewed the domain, and redirected it to van-halen.com ronQuote |

true… but they have a grace period to pay. His crew probably isn’t on top of it… or had an old email address tied to the acct. So they can still pay the $15 bucks and be back up. but jeez… yeah it is lame thismusicsuxQuote |
