yeah saw Ralph w Atomic Punks about 4 times way back when, it was def all CVH, anti-sammy. He’s got an insane voice (still) that can sound very close to Dave. Especially back then (mid/late 90′s) when there was no VH going on really… they brought a kick-ass approximation. Love me some Steel Panther from time to time. Mostly listening to his voice.
ModelCitizen: Ok, I didn’t realize he was the guy from the Punks. Like I said, he sounds just like the record and certainly better than Dave live. I’d still rather see the original, than an imitation who’s currently better than the original. No offense to anyone and he’s obviously talented, but he’s nowhere in the same stratosphere, career-wise as Dave.

I wasn’t talking about Sammy era songs… so no need to curb my expectations. I was talking about the complete back catalog and anything from ADKOT. Ralph could easily sing any Roth era song… On Fire would be cool.
