PT5150 (6290) | Been hearing on THAT METAL SHOW the Comedians sometimes open for rock bands in the US is this correct? Heard Dice say he did it for GnR at the Rose Bowl back in the 90′s.. Seams a strange pairing we never have had that here in Australia. EDDIE’S fingers aren’t fingers they are muscle-powered pistons that hammer guitar strings to the fretboard with the force of a rivet gun”. PT5150Quote |

guitard (7354) | I’ve heard of it before – but never saw a show like this. I remember my cousin went to see the Eagles in the mid-70s and Richard Pryor opened the show. guitardQuote |

jroundy (1418) | Richard Pyror, and the Eagles… sounds like a good show to me. Diceman and GNR also sounds like a lot of fun. I would have rather seen the Diceman open for Van Halen, instead of Cool and The Gang. The poor folks play for keeps down here…They’re the living dead. Nobody rules these streets at night like Van Halen!! jroundyQuote |

Florentien did some segments on the Jagermeister tour a few years ago it was pretty funny before Anthrax,Megadeth and Slayer. He did make some racist black jokes that he might not have the balls to make at a NFL game or a Rap concert. But he was funny. gatomike26Quote |

Agree, I would have rather seen a top comedian instead of Cool and The Gang. I may hav been in my seats a little earlier rather than hanging elswhere. thereadogQuote |

sickman (2380) | I think rather than an opening act they should put that big screen to use. Show old concert footage like the 3 tunes from Oakland or even the Panama, HFT even Jump videos. Then, when they are about to hit the stage turn all the house lights down and put a big friggin bright VH symbol up on that big screen. Get back to having someone announce them like it’s a prize fight and open with…………………………..House of Pain sickmanQuote |
