guitard (7354) | I’ve been having problems with my laptop overheating lately – and shutting down. It just can’t take the heat generated by the processor working overtime when I’m editing video. Now that summertime is starting up – it’s really getting bad. So yesterday I went out and bought this “chill mat” – and the problem is solved. You can’t see them in this picture, but there are two fans inside this that cool the bottom of the laptop. The fans are powered by a USB connection – so you don’t have to plug anything extra into the wall. guitardQuote |

Dave (2308) | Do they make those for people, cause I can think of a few who could use some time on the chill mat. Stay Frosty DaveQuote |

sickman (2380) | I’ve been using one for years and they work great, just make sure to blow out the dust once a month. Just like the fan on the laptop needs to be cleaned, so do these. sickmanQuote |
