Ha ha. I did the same 15 years ago when my kids were little and started pulling all of the cds out of the cases. I’ve also done the same with DVDs, so my wife is very happy not to have all kinds of media laying around the house and all of my stuff is safe. Revo11 (985) | I just made the switch recently, maybe I’d still be married if I’d thought of that sooner! Revo11Quote |

ron (11778) | http://wrat.com/2015/07/24/joe-satriani-hints-chickenfoot-getting-back-together/ July 24, 2015 For a while now, it’s been assumed that Chickenfoot, the group made up of Sammy Hagar, Joe Satriani, Michael Anthony and Chad Smith, was over, but perhaps there are plans afoot. (Pun not intended.) Satriani recently talked to WDHA’s Terrie Carr, and he said he sent Hagar a song earlier this week…and playful put the pressure on the singer to get to work on lyrics: “I think after I was pretty vocal about saying the band had pretty much broken up, I was talking with Sam and we got on to one thing or another…I got inspired to write a song, and I sent him a song about two days ago, and I got great response, and Sammy said, ‘We gotta work on this right away.’ So, maybe we’re back on…Singing, I think, is the hardest thing you can do in rock music. It just takes a lot of attitude and energy…I hope he’s not hearing this. I don’t want him to think I’m giving him some slack or anything, because he should really get off his you-know-what and finish writing the lyrics to the song I just sent you Sam, if you’re listening.” In Hagar’s defense, today (July 24) is National Tequila Day (check Twitter for proof), so he might be a bit distracted, but maybe he can get started on those lyrics next week, when the hangover has subsided. ronQuote |
