 ron (11778) | September 27, 2022 15 years ago today (9/27/07) Van Halen launched their North American tour in Charlotte NC, bringing David Lee Roth back as lead singer on stage for the first time since 1984. In between, of course, there was the Van Hagar era and the short-lived Gary Cherone years. The 2007 tour marked the departure of Michael Anthony and the addition of Wolfgang Van Halen, Eddie Van Halen’s then 16-year-old son on bass.
