muroh73 (1096) | http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=408099 Van Halen Zoom H2 Quality: B++ Unchained You Really Got Me Notes: Wow, what a show! You knew it would be a great night right off the bat when they jammed a 7-minute version of “Unchained.” These guys are just having FUN up there onstage, you can see it in their eyes and their smiles. They are jamming, playing off each other, mixing it up…rare for the CVH lineup. Ed has found the joy again, smiling, waving to the crowd, and really loving playing the guitar for the masses. From where I was was seated I could see backstage and Ed, Dave and Wolf were doing a silly dance with their arms to part of Al’s drum solo…no one could see them, it wasn’t done for the crowd…they were just having a good ol’ time. Roth’s voice has issues, but he was very focused on singing in San Jose, a lot less of the goofy stories that he told in Oakland two days ago. Roth’s mic fell out of the stand and landed in the pit at the beginning of “You Really Got Me” and he misses the first line…too bad he got the mic back so quickly, would have been fun to here the band jam on the classic as an instrumental a little longer! And they busted out “Bottom’s Up!” for the first time since 1982, again they seem willing to change things up…they are relaxed and enjoy playing with each other on stage..check out the extended ending to “Hot For Teacher”. Just an unsurpassed evening of joyous rock and roll!! Can I get a witness!!! Praise the Lord!!!! muroh73Quote |

jroundy (1418) | I’d give a B+….just as Markum7 rates his own recording. It’s a bit distant, but clear. Has less bottom end then most of the other audio boots I have collected from this tour, but that is easily taken care of with a little eq adjustment. I think he was seated almost behind the stage, so that may affect the mix a bit, and maybe adds to it being a bit distant. The poor folks play for keeps down here…They’re the living dead. I’ve tried downloading this show several times from the Dropbox site, and it’s not working. The “file” loads, but each FLAC file loads in kb and not MB. Vince G.Quote |

Thanks !! Wow, this show has energy. Best version of Unchained this tour. Question – Is there a way to download a folder from DROPBOX instead of individual songs ? Anyone notice some of the song splits are out of wack ? When you turn on your stereo, does it return the favor? mrmojohalenQuote |

I would have to zip the file…..no way to download the whole folder that I am aware of yet. Besides I thought it better this way, for someone with a slow connection they can grab each song as they like. You don’t even need to download the whole thing if you didn’t want to. Markum7 must have rushed this, because the cuts in the tracks are a bit screwy. The poor folks play for keeps down here…They’re the living dead. No problem downloading by the song, just wondered. When you turn on your stereo, does it return the favor? mrmojohalenQuote |
