VH – Recorded Live At New Haven Veterans Memorial Coliseum Ct August 27 1986

This is one I’d like to grab. I have this Westwood One radio CD somewhere. I pulled “Good Enough” and “Wild Thing” from the WW1 promo CD when I put together the “5150 Leftovers” CD and I yanked the audio from my master VHS recording of the MTV VMAs video of them doing the complete “BOBW/Love Walks In” with the breakdown into “Addicted to Love”. Would be cool to have this on vinyl.

Ok found a copy online, ordered should receive late feb early march lets see what happens

1 copy arrived yesterday from Japan, and I have another arriving today from Greece.

I’m listening to it now. Side 1 starts fine, but ends abruptly; there’s no fade-out. Side 2 starts without a fade-in, and there’s a fade-out at its end. Side 3 starts without a fade-in, and ends with a fade-out. Side 4 starts without a fade-in as well, and ends with a fade-out.

And, as you can see from the photos provided by Ron they don’t follow the order of the setlist on the official DVD/VHS. It’s missing “Get Up” (which, honestly, I don’t mind), Drum Solo, Bass Solo, and “Best of Both Worlds” is an abbreviated version.

The copy I received from Japan is #76 out of 250.

The copy I received from Greece is #38 out of 250.

I’m guessing it’s sourced digitally, obviously, and I don’t have the gift of perfect pitch, but I’m pleased with the audio, and it isn’t anything that can’t be fixed with an EQ.
