Wonder what the lineage is for this one.

This is another one that was recorded on DAT. Anyone know whom the taper was?

I have a 1st gen cassette of a DAT copy. Probably got this from a european trader.

If I had to venture a guess, it might be a Steecoe recording.

So is this newly shared cassette a 2nd source?

I think it’s a higher/unknown gen of the show in circulation.

If you look at the “looking for” list in the posting, it contains

many shows in the trading pool – at least in VHT circles,

not necessarily shows from torrent sites.

I guess Dime doesn’t have any rules about genned material from better sources already in the trading pool? That’s too bad.

Agreed, Ron. I’m pretty sure I have a master to disc but working on getting a DAT transfer.

I asked the Dime mods, and they had this to say:

As long as no superior version is shared on DIME the inferior version can run. A bird in the hand, you know…

Which I guess makes sense.
So if someone re-upped the DAT transfer that was shared in ’05, I’m sure the cassette copy would get pulled.

You would think that someone would seek out the best quality version that is known to exist &

post it instead of a generated recording.

VHTRADING, along with VHBOOTS are the most reliable sources for information & recordings.
