Is this clip out there from 1978??? I found it at an archive site, its a 2min 24sec video of the complete band live (probably one song) opening up for Sabbath.

http://www.historicfilms.com/acquisitions

Type in Van Halen in their search. The clip I’m curious about was towards the bottom of the first page. Click on the photo on the right side and it will take you to a second page on where that clip appears in the reels they have obtained. Clip was in with AC/DC and Sabbath. Looks like alot bands were taped at this venue. This site also accuired the rights to the US Festival 83. There is also a clip with the US Festival attorney and he talks about a band and their rider concerning the brown M&M’s I got a feeling this site has quite a bit of unearthed stuff. My understanding also is that they are still acquiring more film and video.

Hate to see this one get away—very early clip. If this clip is out there, then its possible the whole show may be around.
