I’m In You Notes: Here comes an exclusive from the JEMS archives and we believe the first time this video has ever been circulated. Support acts this night were The J Geils Band and Foghat. This show captures Peter at the height of his fame. The previous year he finally broke it big with Frampton Comes Alive!. This show is from the follow up tour and album I’m In You. A lot of what made Frampton Comes Alive! such a crowd pleaser is still part of the act in 77 with new additions like Tried To Love, (I’m A) Road Runner, Signed, Sealed, Delivered and the obvious I’m In You as the closer. The vhs tapes were professionally transferred but age has gotten to them so the video is not as good as it could be but overall it is pretty good. JEMS are not at the liberty to disclose the exact gen of the vhs tapes but we can say they are VERY LOW but are not from the master u-matics. Frampton took a lot of bashing for going lite weight with stuff like Baby I Love Your Way but damn could (and still can) the man play a guitar. His guitar leads in Something’s Happening are tasty.

NP Wes… He is somewhat underated as a guitar player, Frampton is a great player. For us old farts, when I hear someone uses a talk-box… I think of Frampton and Walsh right away. And no…not Richie Zamboni or Sambora
