I’m with everyone else about the bonus material. It isn’t anything that hasn’t been commercially available, and still is.
The fact that these bonus songs are on vinyl is okay, I guess, but I would’ve much preferred real rare material like Returning of the Wish, I Want Some Action, and Between Us Two.
Maybe even the original mix of CGTSNM as The Backdoor Shuffle? Hagar has said that song was done in a very rough demo before he sold it to Ray Danniels, so it would’ve been nice to hear.
Unless 5150 or OU812 have a dramatic change in sound quality I won’t be buying this as we have heard every song and most of us have every song being released in some type of format. I just don’t see the point of getting it when it will sit on my shelf and probably never play it. As I have cds still in the plastic wrapper never played. Spotify has made cds obsolete nowadays.
Rob you talk of dysfunctional it’s a shame when we hear Wolf say in an interview they had a song for ADKOT working title Ain’t Talkin Bout Panama and Roth refused to work on it. How many gems have we missed out on over the years because of the BS and egos involved…

Ron (maybe I’m wrong). In the Sammy video upper right is pre-order. I hit that went to Amazon Music to this product number 603497832231 It says 5 discs but only lists 4. Bad listing on Amazon?
I purchased Humans Being from iTunes today. The sound is a little cleaner to my ears. The cymbals and vocals stood out to me. An interesting note. The artwork is slightly animated. Then I noticed all the Sammy era albums on iTunes have slightly animated artwork. Pretty cool!

Buying mp3s or compressed audio files of remasters is kind of pointless, IMO. I ordered the CDs in the hopes that the first two CDs sound better. I have low expectations.
The VanHalenStore sent out a message last week saying that pre-orders for the “Collection II” LPs and CD are almost sold out. (ie, they manufactured X, and most have been bought already)
I was looking at the Amazon pages for the CD and LP this morning and noted something I hadn’t seen before. Vinyl says, “700+ bought in past month” CD says, “800+ bought in past month” Don’t think I’d ever seen numbers like that in the past. Makes me wonder just how many copies were produced.
