I was a member a few years back on the old site. I have been collecting bootleg videos since I got my first vcr in 1980.(it was a beta format!) So that should tell ya I’m probably one of the oldest guys in your forum. I browse alot of forums of my favorite groups but this forum seems to be the closest knit group of posters that really look to help each other out in their collecting efforts. For that I applaud all of you! I have no clue in how to download shows from torrent sites and really don’t care to do it. I am an old fashioned snail mail trader and I trade with collectors from all over the world. I also buy directly from a few filmers. I had to retire in 98 due to a massive heart attack at the ripe ole age of 47 so collecting and watching shows along with enjoying my 6 grand kids is now my way of life. I have over 2500 shows on dvd in my collection. Van Halen has always been one of my favorites NO MATTER IF ITS DAVE OR SAMMY IN THE BAND! I have 130 shows on dvd.
If you would like to see my list get in touch and send me yours I’m always in the mood for a trade. Also I would like to know who you guys recommend on this site to put a couple of shows I have the masters of onto dvd. I’m not computer savvy and I would like someone to put these two shows together the right way. I transferred them with a stand alone deck years ago for myself and a couple of guys who went to the shows with me. I have been sitting on them since the 2004 tour and after seeing how the members on this site are with each other I want to share them. Thanks for listening and letting me into the forum!
