It’s good, colors are washed out at times, reminiscent of Van Diego Dave’s footage from San Diego. Plus you get to watch Steecoes footage right on his phone sometimes!

Video for this DVD is definitely “A” quality, however, I think the audio is somewhere in the “B+” range, i.e., OK, but far from stellar. That’s just my opinion – your mileage may vary. Just remember folks – they are allowing people to shoot video with point-and-shoot cams. As word gets out and more and more people approach shooting video seriously, there is just going to be better and better video available and I foresee some smart groups getting together and coordinating the shooting of two or three angles up close like this one, and another two or three angles shot from the side and back. In other words, there are going to be some really amazing DVDs by the time this tour is done.

The best stuff is still being processed…these guys take pride in what they do and it takes time! I don’t expect to see the BEST Louisville or Indianapolis for at least another month or so! C’mon…a REAL VH fan is going to snatch up EVERYTHING that surfaces…don’t ask stupid questions! Just download it and enjoy it…form your own opinion! I love these guys here! Everyone of ‘em…but when it comes to opinions of quality…I don’t give a fuck what Wes, Ory, Randy, Guy or anyone else says…I’m grabbing it and enjoying it! Now, understand! I’ve been following DLR fronted VH since 1976. I’ve seen ‘em at high schools…twice at Pasadena Civic and even the Starwood and Whiskey…I’m so grateful to EVERYONE for every recording…good and bad! I pulled off a few decent recordings…only two of which exist anymore. So, to bring this rant to an end…just be as grateful as I am…constant needling and whining about quality is only gonna put the tapers/filmers off…and we won’t see half of what comes up! So…Give ‘em a break!
