Gilligan (1518) | It’s a great idea. I hope he can pull it off. Sometimes this stuff comes across as scripted or like they’re trying too hard to be cool or whatever. GilliganQuote |

jroundy (1418) | This show must have been filmed back in late May or early June of 2014. Odd it took so long to air… The poor folks play for keeps down here…They’re the living dead. Nobody rules these streets at night like Van Halen!! jroundyQuote |

Yeah, this stuff has been in the can a while. Sammy mentioned his time with Tommy Lee in an Oct. 2014 interview. But you can see by the ads on the outside of the Whiskey when it was shot. The Alice Cooper episode (yet to air) was filmed in early June last year. ronQuote |

ron (11778) | So, was anyone else confused over the Sammy and Mikey comments regarding the 1993 show at the Whisky? They said they got shut down after 4 songs, but we all know that they played 16 songs over about 90 minutes. So what’s up with that? Was there another performance that was shutdown? ronQuote |

Mink (2663) | I don’t have AXS TV and haven’t had a chance to see the episode. Does anyone know if these will be released? I looked on itunes and didn’t see any listings. As far as the Whiskey performance in ’93, I think that was just a one off show. I’m sure Sammy’s memory is cloudy, or saying they were shut down after four songs sounds better than, we played a full show no problem. MinkQuote |

He seems to remember things a little different than the facts…. most often in his favor. I won’t hold that against him… just the way his mind must work. The poor folks play for keeps down here…They’re the living dead. Nobody rules these streets at night like Van Halen!! jroundyQuote |
