Very sad news. Blu was the guy who got me started when I first joined VHT many years ago. A great guy who will be missed from all of us who had any contact with him over the years, however slight it might have been.
Gosh very sad news! Blu was one of the main VHT guys when I got started here back in 1998. I don’t think I traded with him but I remember his great sense of humour.

Traded with blu many times, hell I want to say every format: cassettes, cdrs,dvds..helped me out when I first got here. Makes me long for the day u would get packages in the mail ,of live van halen!!!! blu u will be missed…
Judging by many of the posts at his FB page, Blue was one hell of a person. It didn’t seem like he had an enemy in the world. That kind of love and respect for someone is rare.
Jason was a solid trader with a solid rep. I traded with him countless times, and he was also helpful when I wasn’t able to figure out the whole torrenting thing when I first signed up here.
I saw pics of him on FB in his hospital bed a week or two ago, but nothing was ever said as to the seriousness of his condition, whatever it was.
This sucks, man.

Wow, sad for Blu’s family… I never directly traded with him, but I enjoyed his fun contributions to threads and remember his “iconic” avatar. I assume it was him drinking a bottle of something labeled “BLU”. I’m pretty sure that was it anyway – it’s been a while… Maybe we could get a copy of that and stick it in the VHT banner for a few days – kind of like flying a flag at half mast.
