As usual the Hall of Shame got it wrong again. Randy Neuman,Public Enemy and Donna Summer get in over Deep Purple? What a freakin joke. Neuman is about as Rock N Roll as Liberace was. Donna Summer was the queen of the disco movement that tried to kill rock n roll. Rush and Heart deserve it and were both LONG overdue but to snub Purple again is sickening.

I don’t have any problem with Randy Newman and Donna Summer being inducted into the Music Hall of Fame (incorrectly named RnR HoF) over Deep Purple.

If you keep in mind that it’s a “music” hall of fame, and not a “rock n’ roll” hall of fame, it’s easier to understand the inductees.

IF, it was called the Music Hall of Fame I could understand it too…but….it is call the The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. And if they were just inducting ANY recording artist into the “Music” Hall of Fame, where are the country and western artist?? It’s to whoever they need to curry favor to or appease that particular year. Whoever comes up with the nominations has a skewed viewed of Rock n Roll. Oh well whatcha gonna do???
Mayby I’ll be alive one year to see Kiss inducted.
