Absolutely love the sound of Blood and Fire – to these ears, it’s got a Top Jimmy-vibe to it. I much prefer it to Tattoo – I’m kinda with mink on this one, I do like the verse, the bridge to the chorus & the solo on Tattoo – but the Tattoo Tattoo part drives me insane too!

Dave, they are growing on me, the downloaded versions of these two have a lot more bottom end to both the bass and drums which gives the mix a better blend, I’ve had it cranked through my good speakers and LOUD is the only way too listen to these especially the laid back tempo bit with Dave talking on ‘Trouble’.
Trouble is a huge leap in style for a VH tune, funk rock, but I love that stuff anyway, taking a bit to get used to my hero using a wah, hope there’s not too much on the album, we all remember Ed’s ‘dark days’ with the sustainer.

No more listening for me now… just waiting for the postman to arrive with my Amazon order (no it’s not that damn Bottom’s Up’ dvd! how do VH let them get away with it?)

Hey Chris, sorry I missed your gig hope the bands doing well mate.

I love this song ! I thought the “We Came…We Came…We Came” part was cheezy when I first heard it.

Now it’s stuck in my brain. I was laying in bed last night trying to think what this part reminded me of.

It’s the theme from the TV show PSYCH, “I Know, You Know”.

I listened to both of them about ten times each during lunch today…love them both…I think Trouble should have been the lead single…I like them both better than Tattoo, and I like Tattoo…I’m super stoked for the album now….

He was on tour with Chickenfoot the last couple of weeks (in Europe) and gave some interviews. But because he didn’t talk about VH, you didn’t hear about it.
